Motor Encoder Resolver home position(start point) Test and Synchronization System

Description
Synchronzing reference home position(zero point,start point) of magnetic encoders/resolvers with home position(zero point,start point) of motor shaft is quite essential to motor’s vector control/FOC(Field-Oriented Control).Motor FOC is based on precise position information provided by magnet encoder/resolver.If encoder’s home position is not synchronized with motor shaft’s home position precisely,motor’s reactive energy will increase which will cause motor generating heat instantly.With instant and redundant heat in motor which is unable to be dissipated immediately,the energy efficiency of motor decreases and heat accumulates which may cause malfunctions of motor and even safety accidents.Calibrating encoder’s home position to motor shaft’s home position(start point,zero point) is vital to position control that will directly affect the vibration amplitude of the motor,the smoothness of power output and thus affect the comfort,efficiency and safety of mechanical equipment on which a motor is mounted.
